Mission Statement:
The mission of the Capital Amateur Radio Society, CARS, is to provide and conduct programs and activities that promote the interest in Amateur Radio within the Capital of Kentucy and to provide interoperable Amateur Radio comunications for the City of Frankfort, Franklin County, and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

General Information:

If you have an interest in Skywarn (Severe Weather Spotting) training, you may obtain additional training details by clicking the indicated link. Basic and Advanced Field Spotter Guides are also available for download from this same web location.

Regular meeting dates are normally the first Thursday of the month, at 7:30 pm, at the Frankfort Boone National Guard Center, Emergency Operation Center or Communications Center, off Highway 127, the Frankfort West Plaza Connector. A photo ID is required to enter thru the guarded entrance.
